The water company has many users spread over a vast area. The water is not piped along but rather supplied by wells at each remote location. A hydraulic spooler has been modified to assist with installing the pumps on Boreline Flexible Drop Pipe. The frame ensures that a pump can be positioned at the well without the use of a crane or any other lifting equipment. Preparations are done in the yard where the pump, Boreline and power cable are all connected. Site work is therefore kept to a minimum. The unit is a simple hydraulic spooler or “Spool-O-Matic”. It is towed to the site, backed-up to the well and fired-up. You can experience the speed, safety and efficiency of this system and see that it really does makes sense.
